Denny Bolen became a follower of Christ in 1970. He and Helen were been married in 1969 and they raised a family of 5 children. He has served as elder for 18 years (in 6 year stints) at Evangelical Free Church of Huntington Beach, CA. He organized a recovery ministry, in which he taught and led various groups. His professional background is that of a Systems Programmer of large-scale computers and manager in the same arena. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Hastings College, NE.
